How do You Write Resumes?

What is Your Procedure For Editing a Resume?

First, we look for spelling and grammatical errors. Then we look for inconsistencies and other issues that could be off putting for potential employers. Finally, we update your resume with relevant keywords, and ensure the layout meets the hiring managers’ standards. 

Do You Work With Job Seekers in Other Countries?

Yes. We have clients in countries all over the world. If you have questions about a specific country, please contact customer service.

Do You Provide CV Writing Services?

Yes, we have specialists on our team who can help you with your CV writing and editing needs.

Can I Get a Refund if I Don’t Get a Job?

Sorry, but no. There are too many other factors that contribute to the success of your job search for us to make that offer. However, we will do three free revisions if you don’t have any success after two months.

What About Cover Letters?

Absolutely! We can write custom cover letters for every position you are interested in. In fact, we encourage our clients to bundle resume and CV writing with cover letter services in order to save money.

What Are Your Qualifications?

We only hire writers who meet one of two qualifications. They must either have proven experience as professional resume and CV writers, or they must have experience in HR or as hiring managers. In addition to this, they must pass a writing test, provide us with several samples, and undergo our training program. All of our writers have college degrees.

I Have a Sketchy Job History. Can You Help?

First, you aren’t alone. Many people have made mistakes that can make it difficult to put together an attractive resume. This includes being terminated for cause, having no job history, job hopping, or having been out of the workforce altogether for a long period of time. Don’t worry. We can help with all of these things.

Once I Get My Resume Can I Edit it Myself?

We use a product called InDesign to produce sophisticated and professional looking resume. If you have access to that software or something compatible, and the technical knowledge, we can provide you the source file for a fee.

However, we strongly advise that you let us do any updates for you. Our charge for small changes is quite minimal.

Isn’t Cheaper if I just Use a Resume Template?

A resume template will likely get somewhat better results than if you simply tried to write your resume using a word processor. However, it won’t be nearly as effective as one that’s been professionally written. Other applicants are likely using professional resumes. If you don’t, you could lose your competitive edge.
