Resume Review Services
Did you know that most resumes contain mistakes – either spelling mistakes, incorrect word usage, punctuation errors, grammatical mistakes or missing words.
Of course it should go without saying that you must proof read your resume before submitting it. And not just once. But it is hard to proof read your own writing. Your brain sees what should be there rather than what is actually there.
How to Combat Mistakes
There are a few ways to iron out your mistakes:
- Use an online spell checker. Of course, this won’t spot every mistake. For example, you might want to say you “sold the most” and accidentally type “hold the most”. A spell checker won’t know you used the wrong word.
- You could ask a friend or family member for help. This is a good option if you have a friend that’s really good at English and has time on their hands. It’s a risky option though – maybe your friend isn’t all that good with proof reading. Or maybe they don’t really want to do it but don’t want to upset you and you could be waiting weeks.
- Get professional help
